Capital Planning Process: Campus Open House

When: Sep. 19, 2013, 1pm - 2pm
Campus Location: Student Union
Office/Remote Location: Room 209

The UNLV Combined Major Capital Project and One-Time Project Process (COPP) began for the 2014 fiscal year on September 11. UNLV Planning & Construction and the UNLV Provost's Office will be jointly conducting campus open houses for faculty and staff, to provide information regarding the COPP process. The campus open houses will start with an overall COPP presentation, with time available for questions and discussion after the initial COPP presentation.

The COPP is an institutional process conducted to understand and prioritize our campus' major capital project requests and one-time needs/proposals. Through receiving submittals from all areas of the institution for these project requests, it is intended that a comprehensive understanding of needs throughout the institution is developed and prioritized to support institutional planning and funding processes, and to assign available resources to the highest priority items within funding constraints and strategies. For information regarding the COPP visit, the Planning and Construction website.

Open Houses will be held on:

  • Sept. 16, Noon-1 p.m., Student Union, Rm. 207
