Campus Master Plan - Open House

UNLV is updating our Campus Physical Master Plan and invites the campus community to hear the recommendations of the planning committee, share their thoughts and ask questions at one of our upcoming open houses.

After these open houses we will finalize the recommendations for the campus master plan update and prepare the recommendations for a formal presentation to the Board of Regents on Nov. 29 & 30.  

The format of these open houses will be an initial 30-40 minute presentation of the current status of the planning, with 50-60 minutes for questions from attendees.

• Wed., Oct. 24, 2-3:30 p.m. in the Student Union Room 208C

• Wed., Oct. 24, 5-7 p.m. in the Tam Alumni Center's Grand Hall

Background
The last Campus Physical Master Plan was completed in 2004. This update will investigate the possibility of a mega events center/stadium and university village on the western portion of the UNLV Maryland Campus (UNLVNow). We will also further investigate the Midtown UNLV redevelopment project and other campus planning initiatives. Receiving your input at these open houses is important to updating the master plan. The process will continue through the fall with presentations of concepts and alternatives and more opportunities for you to provide feedback.
