BMI Reading: Richard Wiley

Richard Wiley received the PEN/Faulkner Award for Best American Fiction for his first novel, Soldiers In Hiding. His other novels include "Fools Gold," "Festival for Three Thousand Maidens," "Indigo," "Ahmed’s Revenge," and "Commodore Perry’s Minstrel Show." He will read from and discuss his latest work, "The Book of Important Moments," available from Dzanc Books.

In the late 1960s, Richard Wiley served in the Peace Corps in South Korea and has lived in Japan, Nigeria, and Kenya. He is currently the director of the UNLV Creative Writing Program and the associate director of Black Mountain Institute.

The reading and discussion will be followed by an audience Q&A and book signing.
