Pascal Oesch, Hubble Fellow at the University of California, Santa Cruz, will be the featured speaker at a Department of Physics and Astronomy colloquium.
His research focuses on extremely deep Hubble and Spitzer Space Telescope data to study galaxy evolution across cosmic time. In particular, he is focused on understanding the build-up and assembly of the first generations of galaxies.
