The UNLV Anthropology Department announces a talk titled, "Great Ape Sleep, Sleeping Platforms and the Evolution of Hominin Cognition." by Dr. David Samson, visiting assistant professor at UNLV. Dr. Samson has done groundbreaking research on chimpanzee and orangutan sleep, which also holds relevance for human evolution.
