Each year, UNLV and UNR compete for the title of winner of the Blood Battle.
Help UNLV beat UNR again this year by donating your blood during a special drive sponsored by the UNLV Alumni Association and UNLV Alpha Epsilon Delta.
Did you know, every three seconds somewhere in this country, someone needs blood?
One donation can help as many as three patients. Seventy percent of us will need a blood transfusion during our lifetime. Only 2.5% of the population donates blood.
You must make an appointment in advance.
To donate blood you must be at least 17 years old, be at least 110 pounds, and not have had a new a tattoo within the last year.
All you need to save up to three lives is 45 minutes of your time and your picture ID.
All donors will receive a voucher for two (2) admissions to see Defending the Caveman at Harrah's courtesy of Ivory Star Productions.
