8th Annual GeoSymposium

The UNLV Geoscience Department is hosting its 8th Annual GeoSymposium. The symposium is a student-run event, designed to provide graduate and undergraduate students with an opportunity to present their research and receive feedback from industry, civic, and government professionals, as well as academic experts.

- 8:45 a.m. - Opening Remarks
- 9:00 a.m. - Morning Keynote Address given by Jeffery Randall, CH2M HILL
- 9:30 am - Oral Presentation Session - I
- 11:00 a.m. - Poster Presentation Session - I
- Noon - Lunch Break
- 1:00p.m. - Oral Presentation Session - II
- 2:00 p.m. - Poster Presentation Session - II
- 3:30 p.m. - Afternoon Keynote Address given by Gary Gray, ExxonMobil
- 4:15 p.m. - Awards Ceremony
- 4:30 p.m. - Silent Auction & Evening Reception
