Dean's Associates

The Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering provides high-quality civil and environmental, computer science, construction management, electrical, entertainment engineering and design, and mechanical engineering programs for its undergraduate and graduate students. Private support will help the students and faculty in the college find resolution for real-world engineering problems.

Our Dean’s Associates comprise the inner-circle of supporters for engineering at UNLV, and are key investors in the students, faculty and programs that make the Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering so successful. These individuals or corporations contribute at least $1,000 annually, and permit the dean to spend the funds where the need is greatest.

Dean’s Associates will be invited to an annual reception, where the dean will report on how he chose to invest these unrestricted funds over the course of the year. In the past, contributions have enabled students and faculty to attend professional conferences and competitions, allowed student organizations to host diversity seminars promoting the profession, and allowed the college to produce lectures and events as part of a community engagement effort.
