The Telecommunications area exists to provide state-of-the-art telecommunications services for the students, faculty, and staff, of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. As new technologies become viable for electronic communication/learning through voice, video, and data. Telecommunications department will have or be prepared to provide the necessary infrastructure and skilled personnel for these existing and new services.
