As a repository for both historic
and prehistoric artifacts recovered from numerous surveys, from
several field schools and other excavations. It is the mission
of the UNLV Archaeological Collections Committee to
manage, curate and facilitate access to researchers and
interested parties, in an ongoing effort for artifact
preservation, conservation and cataloging.
We apply all ethical principles
relevant to the fields of Archaeology, curation, General
Anthropology, Physical Anthropology and we conform to all NAGPRA
regulations.
