Sirona Dental Systems, LLC recently donated 10 (ten) CEREC Acquisition Centers powered by Blue Cam and 10 (ten) milling units to the UNLV School of Dental Medicine (UNLV SDM). The CEREC CAD/CAM system is a significant addition to the technology and training at the UNLV SDM and will help the students develop skills in digital dentistry found in today’s contemporary clinical settings. The equipment is valued at $494,700 and will be integrated into the pre-doctoral curriculum during the upcoming fall semester. Students will benefit from this technology through initial use as first year students in the simulation lab prior to their clinical experiences.
