Women's Research Institute of Nevada

The Women's Research Institute of Nevada (WRIN) is a statewide research institute that collects, preserves, and analyizes of information on women in Nevada.

From its inception in 1999, WRIN has worked directly with community stakeholders to articulate community needs and to address them through research and education.
The institute is currently conducting three research/education projects:

  1. NEW Leadership Nevada
  2. Las Vegas Women Oral History Project
  3. The Status of Women in the State.

WRIN is a member of the National Council for Research on Women, a prestigious network of more than 100 leading U.S. research and policy centers that helps ensure fully-informed debate, policies, and practices that help create more equitable opportunities for women and girls.
