Floortime Workshop

Who should attend the 'Floortime Workshop': Educators of special needs children, Autism & ASD facilitators, special education, SLD, LD, adaptive P.E. teachers, school counselors, school physchologist, and school social workers,speech pathologist, OT's,  PT's, Pediatricians, pediatric behavior clinicians, education majors, and early childhood education college students, city recreation center inclusion staff,  therapists, and people work with, live with, or care for children and those with Autism, ASD, PDD-NOS, behavioral challenges, ADD, ADHD, IDD, social challenges, Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), Anxiety Disorder, Depression, Bi-Polar tendencies, Dyspraxia, Apraxia, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Fragile X Syndrome, Rett Syndrome, and many other developmental delays or disorders.

 - You will screen many video examples on how to evaluate children using the DIR Model and how to do Floortime.

  - You will develop an understanding of Floortime and how to use it to promote emotional, social, and cognitive  development in children or all ages.

  - You will immediately begin to apply some of the techniques discussed to facilitate development.

The Floortime Workshop, is a great opportunity for professionals, educators, college students, and parents who care for children with special needs, developmental and educational challenges or behavior disorders, to immediately begin using some of the techniques learned at this workshop to promote developing increased education gains, social-emotional development, and engaged communication with Special Needs individuals of all ages. (6 months - 25 years old).

Before June 1st
Parents, college students: $80 per person
Professionals $120 per person

After June 1st
Parents, college students: $90
Professionals $130

Groups of 4 or larger receive a 10% discount.
