Cannon Survey Center (CSC) is committed to providing a broad range of data collection expertise, methodology, and capability to the UNLV campus community; state, city, and county agencies; public and private agencies; as well as other regional and national clients. Look to CSC for expertise in collecting data while maintaining scientific rigor and ethical oversight of the process. Surveys can be conducted online, via landline or cell phones, face-to-face in the field, or as focus groups.

High school guidance counselors from the Clark County School District are invited by the admissions team to this social event with the goal of building relationships for an improved impact on recruitment at local high schools.

The College of Sciences presents two-hour seminars to all Clark County School District junior and senior high school guidance counselors.
CCSD School Board Presentations
The UNLV Genomic Facility and Bioinformatics Center give presentations to the Clark County School District school board on biotechnology in the classroom.
CCSD Science and Math Department Chairs Seminar
UNLV provides campus tours, informational sessions, and workshops for science and math department chairs at Clark County Junior High and High Schools.
Center for Educational Policy Studies
The center is a scholarly research center where College of Education faculty and graduate students engage in in-depth education policy study, research, and program evaluation for the purpose of contributing to K-12 school improvement.
Center for Mathematics, Science, and Engineering Education
The center brings together faculty and resources of the College of Sciences, College of Education, and Clark County School District with the goal of improving the quality of science and mathematics instruction in the school district.
Center for Research, Evaluation and Assessment
A major academic center that provides initial consultation on statistical and research methodologies. For researchers not yet experienced in empirical methods, the center provides expert advice on sampling, questionnaire construction, and the analyses of data. The center is concerned with emotional, behavioral, and cognitive aspects of human behavior as well as related issues in education and student behavior. Administration and scoring of online student course evaluations are available to UNLV departments.
Center for Sports Education
The center is dedicated to advancing the field of sports education through creation of new instructional methodologies, evaluation of coaching behaviors, and athletic performance. The scholarly institute supports several initiatives such as Youth First, a parent/coach orientation program; The Southern Nevada Consortium for Youth Sports and Fitness, a collaborative clearinghouse supporting the efforts of public and private organizations providing youth sports.
