The University of Nevada, Las Vegas is proud to offer a variety of training opportunities for professionals who work with children, youth and families. Our goal is to help you enhance your knowledge and practice skills by providing training that is important, timely and convenient.

We are currently planning to offer several trainings that are mandated offerings as part of the state of Nevada's Child and Family Service Review Program Improvement Plan. The first training is on the topic of thoroughly conducting the statewide Diligent Search process of identifying safe and nurturing placements for children in out-of-home care in order to minimize placement moves and implement permanency plans for children. The second training is on the topic of implementing a statewide-standardized Social Summary process for documenting and preserving vital information about the life of a child placed in the child welfare system. Additional trainings will be added periodically, please revisit this website to learn of new trainings.
