GrantsSafety Assistance Service OSHA ModelMission: To create a safety model program that could be duplicated nationwide that provides assistance to small businesses in understanding and complying with Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) regulations. This model was developed under the Small Business Compliance Alliance program.
Improving Workplace Safety for Hispanic EmployeesMission: To reduce the number of workplace accidents, injuries, and fatalities to Hispanic workers. The goal is to determine why Hispanic workers have the highest accident, injury, and fatality rates.

The U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Special Counsel (OSC) is an independent federal investigative and prosecutorial agency whose basic authorities come from three federal statutes: the Civil Service Reform Act, the Whistleblower Protection Act, and the Hatch Act. The Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) is the basic body of immigration law. There are many provisions with which employers and employees are unfamiliar. The U.S. Office of Special Counsel (OSC) provides grant funding for organizations to disseminate this information in an attempt to familiarize individuals with the INA. |
