Dramatic Growth

Although a young department, we have grown dramatically over the past several years by attracting outstanding faculty and students, and by expanding sponsored research programs.

Our programs are constantly revised, improved, and strengthened in order to reflect the growth in technology and the industrial and societal needs with respect to creative thinking, interdisciplinary knowledge, and teamwork. In addition to strong academic curriculum and research programs, our students greatly benefit from available opportunities for internships, co-op programs, and practical training experiences that provide stepping stones to their professional careers.
