Project: Analysis, Modeling and Design for Traffic Incident Management Systems
Adele Morris and Helen neil are collaborating on two papers. Their work focuses on the potential effects of energy costs on housing values. The first paper, submitted for the ASSA meetings in Denver in January 2011 explores the potential effect of higher energy (electricity) costs on home values. The second paper will explore how gasoline prices can differentially affect home values in different locations. The research analyzes data from hundreds of thousands of home sales in Clark County, Nevada, between the mid-1970 s and early 2010.
