Project: The Effect of Gasoline Prices on Home Sales Prices April 2013
Adele Morris, of the Brookings Institution, and Helen Neill, Associate Dean of the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, are undertaking a research initiative to examine how home values can be affected by gasoline prices. Their current work explores the effect of gasoline prices on residential property sales values and how that effect varies by location within a city.
