The student chapter of the UNLV Alumni Association is called the Student Alumni Association (SAA).
Founded in 1991, SAA exists to help students get involved in their university and the alumni community in a meaningful way. It provides a link to traditions by combining opportunities for socialization, involvement in special events, and leadership development. Most importantly, SAA puts you in direct contact with influential and connected UNLV graduates who provide pointers on how to apply what you are learning in the classroom to the demanding needs of your future employers.
The moment you enrolled at UNLV, you became part of an elite community as an "Alumni in Training." Each course you take here, each experience you have, strengthens your reference point as a member of our academic and social environment — one that is supported by a network of approximately 90,000 graduates. SAA is your bridge from campus life to the professional world.
Membership in SAA is open to all students seeking degrees from UNLV. Membership dues are $15 annually. In addition to a variety of beneficial programs and events, you also automatically join your academic chapter to connect with more alumni in your field of study.
To become a member of SAA, stop by the Richard Tam Alumni Center and pick up an application or join online.
