In Third Grade & College–Bound
Luis Perez, a third grader from Cunningham Elementary School, is dreaming big about becoming a college student and football player for the Rebels.

For the fifth year, top students from UNLV’s five adopted schools were awarded tickets for their families to attend the homecoming football game and tailgate. During halftime students were recognized on the field for their accomplishments in the classroom.

In celebration of Homecoming each year, the Adopt-A-School program holds a spirit rally at Cunningham Elementary School to get the kids excited about learning and rewards them for excelling academically.

Cunningham Elementary School was the first school selected for the Adopt-A-School program. To celebrate this new partnership UNLV held a pep rally to share a dose of Rebel sprit with students and teachers.
