Earn 24 or more transferable credits at a regionally accredited college or university with a 2.5 or higher cumulative grade point average on 24 credits. Once you meet these requirements, you will be reevaluated as a transfer student and your high school transcripts will not be needed.

Please Note: Students with 30 or fewer transfer credits that attend a Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) community college are eligible to apply for a transfer agreement. This agreement guarantees admission to UNLV and transferability of all courses as outlined in the Terms of Agreement.

Additionally, applicants that earn an AA, AS, or ABA at a Nevada System of Higher Education (SNEH) community college with a cumulative 2.0 or higher will be automatically admissible upon application to the university.

You may also enroll at UNLV as a non-degree seeking student. Non-degree seeking students may earn a maximum of eight credits per semester. Although there is no limit to the number of credits one may earn as a non-degree seeking student, no more than 24 credits may be applied toward a bachelor's degree upon admission as a full-time student.
