Faculty/Instructor User
A faculty/instructor user is someone with teaching responsibilities seeking to access his or her own class rosters and grading rosters through the MyUNLV Faculty Center.
Access to the Faculty Center is granted automatically based on completion of the FERPA compliance requirement and MyUNLV teaching assignments. All full-time faculty, graduate assistants, and part-time instructors with teaching responsibilities are required to complete a mandatory FERPA tutorial.
Once you have completed the FERPA tutorial and have been assigned to your course(s) in the MyUNLV schedule, security access is applied automatically within 24 hours. In addition, you will be sent two access emails, one containing your NSHE ID (this is your user ID) and one containing your password. Your access emails will be from IThelp@unlv.edu and are sent to the email address we have on file with Human Resources. If you have been assigned to a course and are having problems logging in or cannot locate your access emails, you may contact MyUNLVSupport@unlv.edu or the IT Help Desk for assistance.
