Data Submission

The Center for Health Information Analysis (CHIA) collects and maintains all of the Nevada acute care hospital inpatient data.

The data is submitted in fixed format:

By state REGULATION, all hospitals as defined by NRS 449.012 are to submit their inpatient data to our Center on a monthly basis. Each months data is to be submitted within 45 days of the end of each month. For example, January data must be submitted by March 15.
