Post-Doc Positions
The X-ray Atomic and Molecular Spectroscopy (XAMS) Program at the
University of Nevada, Las Vegas is seeking two to three post-doctoral scientists to
participate in VUV/soft-x-ray research at the Advanced Light Source (ALS)
at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. The positions will be located in
Berkeley and will be involved in on-going efforts in gas-phase
x-ray-absorption, x-ray-emission, and x-ray photoemission studies, as well
as new initiatives in x-ray spectroscopy of condensed-phase materials in
collaboration with scientists from Berkeley Lab's Center for X-ray Optics.
Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics, or Materials
Science, demonstrated ability in experimental research, and experience
with synchrotron radiation. Interested candidates should contact:
