Teaching Abroad
Each year the Office of International Programs requests applications from full time tenured and tenure track faculty members who are interested in teaching abroad through the University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC). USAC offers the opportunity for UNLV faculty to be a visiting professor during the summer or for a semester. UNLV faculty teach courses that supplement the students' core curriculum in academic areas that complement the program's focus. UNLV faculty can teach in a wide variety of academic disciplines for USAC programs.
Several programs offer intensive language study taught by faculty from the host institution abroad. Visiting UNLV faculty have the option of enrolling in the intensive language programs in most locations. |
