| Friday, April 25, 2008 |
|
A daily email digest called UNLV Today has replaced the UNLV Information e-mail system.
Now employees will receive a single e-mail each morning with the day’s announcements.
UNLV Today and its accompanying website were developed after a campuswide survey revealed opportunities for improvement in the UNLV Information e-mail system.
UNLV Today will: • Minimize the number of daily e-mails • Automate message submission • Organize messages into categories
UNLV Official E-mail UNLV Official messages, which are controlled by each vice president, will remain the same.
The Process for Submission Submissions will no longer be taken through e-mail, but the process is easy with the online form.
PLEASE NOTE: Messages must be submitted by 3 p.m. in order for them to be posted the next day.
How to Log In New submission procedures require users to log into UNLV Today using their Lotus Notes e-mail address and web password.
• If you have a Lotus Notes account, you already have a web password. Your web password is the one you use to access your Lotus Notes account remotely. • If you don’t know your Lotus Notes web password, call the IT help desk at ext. 5-0777 to have it reset. • If you do not have a Lotus Notes account at all and wish to submit to UNLV Today, go to newuser.unlv.edu and request a Lotus Notes account.
