promote the exciting opportunities in the Geoscience field, we offer K-12
educators links to numerous organizations and WWW sites that offer lesson
plans or topical information related to the Geosciences.
We also encourage teachers to contact a faculty member for more information.
UNLV’s Geoscience faculty are often in the media talking about their
exciting research and how it affects the lives of Nevadans. We also participate
in outreach to local schools and private organizations.
