The Annual Meeting for the Southwest Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine (SWACSM) will be held on November 14th and 15th, 2008 at the San Diego Mission Valley Marriot, San Diego, California. Several graduate students and faculty from the department will be attending the conference to present current research results.

Adina Mornell, a concert pianist and professor of music pedagogy at the University of Music and the Performing Arts in Graz (Austria), gave a presentation, entitled "Inside the black box: The psychobiological factors of stage fright" on September 9, 2008.
